Cancellation policy

Your appointments are reserved specifically for you and well-being is very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, making schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice.

Our Policy:

  • Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours before the appointment will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be the value of your appointment booking.

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.

  • We require a 50% deposit to hold your appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file.

  • In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future services.

Privacy Policy 

Your privacy is important to us. Luhe Naturopathy is committed to protecting your personal information and complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We collect personal and sensitive information that is necessary to provide safe and effective naturopathic care. This may include your contact details, health history, medical information, pathology results, consultation notes, and payment details. Sensitive health information is collected only with your consent and only where relevant to your care.

Your information is collected directly from you through consultations, intake forms, online bookings, email or phone communication, and any documents or reports you choose to provide. This information is used to support your health care, maintain accurate records, communicate with you about appointments and treatment, and meet legal and professional obligations.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access. Information is stored securely using password-protected systems and secure practice management software, with access limited to authorised persons only. Your information is retained only for as long as required by law and professional standards.

Your personal information will not be shared without your consent, except where required or authorised by law, or where necessary to prevent a serious threat to health or safety. We do not sell or disclose your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

You have the right to access and request corrections to your personal information at any time. Requests can be made in writing and will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

If you have any concerns about how your privacy has been handled, please contact us directly so we can work towards a resolution. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
