OH HEY

I’m clancy

I have spent the last 10+ years of my life as a manager in a busy supermarket, putting everyone else’s needs before mine and while being successful in this role, it was not a true passion. After spending a couple of weeks with my second child in the nursery after his birth due to some additional needs, I felt a calling to support the health of others however traditional medicine did not interest me. Brought up in an environment with complementary and alternative medicine where my Mum owned a health food store and created a skin care line using herbal medicine, it felt only right that I would explore my own path into herbal medicine. This culminated in the completion of a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) which I juggled with raising 2 young kids and still working as a manager, a very stressful period of my life.

I have a passion for helping those who need support due to their stressful lives, feel like they do not have the time for themselves and struggle to place themselves first.

what we do

As a naturopath I understand that the body and its systems are all connected - as an example, your digestive system can impact your skin, your hormones and your mental health.

I use testing to identify the root cause before using evidence-based naturopathy to restore your health. Every treatment plan is tailored to you, utilising herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, food as medicine or lifestyle suggestions that are relevant and realistic to you.

I want to treat you as a whole person, not just the symptoms you are experiencing, which results in long-term results.

but what is

herbal medicine?

Specific parts of plants (roots, leaves, fruits or flowers) are transformed into various forms of herbal medicine including liquid extracts, teas, creams and tablets. Naturopaths prescribe based on your symptoms, the underlying cause of these symptoms and consider the energetics of you as a person and your history while considering any aspects that need consideration including medication or diagnosed medical conditions.
